We’ve heard of restorative yoga, but we may have forgotten that nature itself is a restorative force. It can help us from getting immersed in information overload (i.e. our lives) and make us feel pretty gosh-darn fantastic.
Let’s get on the 30x30 Nature Challenge. Created by the David Suzuki Foundation, the premise is pretty simple: spend 30 minutes in nature for 30 days. Sign up and commit to making nature a habit (kind of like your morning coffee).
This challenge begins May 1. “But tuja!” you may proclaim, “I don’t have a lot of nature around me.” Anything will do, like a neighbourhood park or garden. Eat your lunch by a body of water or conduct your next business meeting near a bunch of trees. Cultivating a closer relationship with our beautiful country will come back to us tenfold.
However, a new habit takes responsibility and time, like starting to exercise. This nature habit is dedicated to helping us feel more connected. No matter how many devices we use to improve our connections, we can still, somehow, feel disconnected. Let’s unplug together and plug in to what is around us.
As proud supporters of nature (the ultimate natural health product) Genuine Health is participating in the 30x30 Nature Challenge and encouraging partners and customers to join them in reaping all of the benefits that green space-time has to offer!
