Ripe red berries are among the most common smoothie ingredients. Found in every supermarket freezer section & fresh produce section, they're accessible and delicious. There's a reason for their ubiquitousness, I suppose!
Kale & spinach are the powerhouses of the green-world and also easy to find. Plus, their neutral taste doesn't mask the berry flavours. Let's face it, it's all about the berries.
Go organic.
1/2 cup strawberries
1/3 cup raspberries
2-3 leaves of black/lacinato kale
small handful of spinach
5 mint leaves
juice from a quarter lemon
1 Tbsp hemp hearts
1 Tbsp protein powder (optional)
1 cup almond milk, or more as desired
2 tsp raw honey (optional)
Blend until smooth and enjoy!
