This is one hole-in-the-wall you’ll want to climb into.
Nestled snugly on the second level of the Sundance Mall on Banff Avenue, this quinoa-loving bistro needs only to depend on word of mouth and rave customer reviews to fill its tables. The ethnic-inspired décor, mood lighting and intimate atmosphere of this 30-seater are as relaxing as a soak in the hot tub after a long day of skiing.
Nourish and their gourmet vegetarian dishes have been rated #1 in Banff on Trip Advisor for good reason. Served tapas-style, in large portions, the plates are meant for sharing. This gives you the chance to try a few dishes like their 27-topping (sometimes more) Nachos, on which the genius chefs manage to mix strawberries, beans and pickles. Vegetarian food this good has swooned even the most hard-core carnivore.
On top of a mouth-watering menu for dining in, order a dish to-go and the sweet aroma will turn a few heads on the street as you find a lunch spot worthy of such a meal.
For the cautious diner-outer, menus are clearly marked indicating gluten free and vegan options. To save yourself from disappointment, reservations are highly recommended and don’t plan to visit on a Tuesday – it’s the restaurant’s much-deserved day off.
It's a hole new meaning of vegetarian cuisine.
