You never know what you’ll find under the Bodhi Tree.
Seasoned yoga lovers have flocked to Bodhi Tree Yoga Centre for years. This community-driven studio is also a comforting place for first timers. From pregnant women to moms and their babies and even older folks, you’ll find a class or two (or five) to fit your yoga needs.
Bodhi Tree offers many branches of styles: hatha yoga, beginners yoga, shanti, yang yin (with or without music), yin, yoga therapy, meditation yoga, and restorative yoga, among others. If you like to practice in a desert environment, you’ll also find a number of hot classes.
The welcoming staff work hard to keep the studio a tranquil place - ideal for people who appreciate silence when practicing yoga. Find your way to the chill out space where gentle lighting, warm green walls and the scent of oranges and eucalyptus create a calm and meditative vibe.
While your inner journey is supported, being at Bodhi is by no means a solitary experience. Before and after class, instructors and adjustors commune with students on the ample cushioned benches at the entrance.
Traditionally, the bodhi, a type of fig tree, served as a gathering place for numerous spiritual gurus who practiced yoga under the tree’s heart-shaped leaves.
