Chanting “Om” is said to bring you in tune with the underlying hum of the cosmos and connect you to your innermost self. If that doesn’t work, then maybe it’s time to start marching to the beat of a different Om.
Little Burgundy’s Yoga Om brings you closer to a more serene you. Minimal décor and a peaceful environment make any desire for self-exploration very sound.
Hatha is the yoga practice of preference here. A medley of asanas (postures) and pranayamas (breathing techniques) sharpen your awareness of your body and mind. For those looking to explore other methods of achieving balance, Pilates reigns as the alternative option. Like a little of both? Yogalates, a sweet symphony of Yoga and Pilates is just the combo-class you’re looking for.
If you’re considering making Yoga Om your newfound mantra, trial classes are offered on the 15th, 16th and 17th of each month.
The studio’s collective Om resonates loudly in the community. Every week, an OMerci session is organized to support Le Garde-Manger Pour Tous, a local organization that aims to feed and make healthy eating accessible to the less fortunate in the Little Burgundy area. A $7 donation per participant is suggested and is donated in its entirety to Le Garde-Manger.
Ommen to that.
