Three delicious decades can't be wrong.
Since 1984, All the Best Fine Foods has been Toronto’s destination for the freshest, most tempting bakery goods, ready-to-eat foods, frozen meals, and artisanal cheeses imaginable.
With its recent renovation inside a restored heritage home, strolling through All the Best is like perusing a delicious gallery of your favourite treats.
Loaves of fresh-baked Fred’s Breads, Harbord Bakery croissants and house-made shortbreads surround you as you enter and lure you further in with their intoxicating aromas. Lose yourself in the store’s North wall of fine oils, vinegars, sweet and savoury spreads and candies - all packaged to impress.
If it’s cheese you’ve come for, make your way towards the rear of the store and marvel at the selection. Mild or moldy, firm or oozing, the choice is yours. Savour the fact that each one (along with everything else in the store) is certified by Local Food Plus, a non-profit organization committed to creating local sustainable food systems that reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
Meander over to the South wall and treat yourself to one of Head Chef Olivia Belano’s home-made meals. Boeuf Bourgignon is a delicious treat - especially when Olivia has slaved over it in her kitchen instead of you. Add to that the fact that it was made with naturally raised meat, produce from local farms with zero chemicals or preservatives, and the yum factor increases exponentially.
After almost 30 years, it truly is All the Best. You can count on it.
