When it comes to yoga, you like to branch out.
Luckily, with Yoga Tree you can stretch to your heart’s content whether you’re downtown for lunch, slipping out of the office in midtown, or looking for a weekend-repose in the suburbs.
Owners Debbie Fung and Jason Lu are the husband and wife team behind the four studios fashioned after their original in downtown TO.
Their latest branch in Thornhill is a perfect example of what you can expect. Cork floors in the studio provide a cushiony and environmentally friendly practice space. While the low flow showerheads and a paperless sign-in help you say Namaste to planet.
Start your experience off at the Yoga Tree with a cup of tea in the lounge, and then head to the bright and airy studio. At 5,000 square feet, the room is spacious, warm and inviting.
There are many leaves to pluck – choose from Hot Yoga, Ashtanga, Iyengar or Prenatal. The studio offers different levels from Level 1 to familiarize you with foundation poses, to Level 3 for a fuller challenge.
You’ll soon be putting down roots at one of their branches.
