Feeling a little rough around the edges? Take a short walk up from Lonsdale Quay and let this North Shore café smoothie it all out.
Buddha-Full Smoothies was established in 2010 by resident artists Geremie Voigt and Kyla Rawlyns. They hold the distinction of opening the area’s first organic, vegan, raw café. The menu is packed with colourfully named energy-boosting juices and smoothies like “Common Ground” and “Buddha Licious”.
They also offer delicious hot elixirs and organic coffees. “The Healer,” is a steaming blend of apples, ginger, Echinacea, vitamin C, and zinc. It single-handedly soothes the soul, quenches a thirst and puts out the unwelcome mat for colds. Add a full artillery of veggies with the spicy vegan wrap and leafy salad, part of the divine selection of raw food options.
Before you take a seat at one of the vintage spool tables, get happy by following the affirmation scrawled across your seat cover.
Buddha-Full handily meets its goal of providing a laid-back environment for laid-back shore dwellers. Works by local artists beautify the café walls and are available for sale. With live shows soon to come, we have no doubt Buddha-Full will become a local haven for all things fulfilling.
A dose of good food, positive vibes and some inspiring creativity.
That’s all it takes to make life feel a little smoother.
