Winning on a pair is easy, when you’re betting on the right bistro.
Located in Point Grey, Pair Bistro provides the best of B.C.’s waters, vineyards, and farms. Pair insists on working with suppliers who exhibit an indisputably high commitment to sound practices. All of its partners, from farmers to fishermen to in-house chefs, do their best to deliver and coordinate meals in an ethical and sustainable way.
Eight years ago, hospitality veterans Todd and Janis Hodgins went all in on a restaurant dedicated to locally sourced ingredients, and served up a model for provincial support in the process. Their drive to do business locally has raised the profile of several smaller, independent producers and breweries, extending Pair’s success to B.C. at large.
The proof of that success is in Pair’s presentation. Guests are treated to a cozy, intimate atmosphere accented by First Nations artwork, classic wooden tables, and a luxurious glass-top bar. Each and every course arrives expertly arranged on fine white china, lending a touch of decadence to every mouthful.
And what mouthfuls! Start with one of the bistro’s “Pairtizers” ranging from a plate piled with fresh and locally plucked, crisp organic greens to fried Camembert and Fraser Valley duck & apricot pâté. Pair’s shellfish selection demands submission. Our money is on you loving the oysters, raw or cornmeal battered, especially since each is escorted directly from the nearby coast. The menu changes monthly, so repeat trips are a must.
Double down on this Pair. You’ll walk away a satisfied winner.
