Holidayyy! Celebraate!
Madonna really does know best. And just like some of the “adult” moves and outfits
in her video, get ready for a smoothie along the same vein.
Almond milk and almond butter plus some sesame seeds provide a silky base for the rest of your big-girl ingredients.
Cacao and espresso add some kick (and an antioxidant and
magnesium boost) to get the good times rollin’!
Last but not least, the combination of coconut sugar, almond milk, coffee and whiskey are what mimics the well-loved liqueur we know as Bailey’s Irish Cream.
Now go for it. You deserve it!
Ingredients
Go Organic.
1 cup almond milk
1 Tbsp raw almond butter
2 tsp raw cacao powder
1 Tbsp coconut sugar
1 Tbsp coffee (or espresso if you're a coffee lover) – NOT the grinds, the liquid
1 tsp of grassfed ghee OR coconut oil
3 tsp Irish Whiskey (or more if you like it boozey)
tiny pinch of sea salt
Blend until smooth. This concoction tastes great cool or at room temperature but feel free to heat until steaming. To make it a little more PG, leave out the whiskey - it still tastes great.
