Dr. Feel Good: Apple Ginger Turmeric Elixir

:Kris Osborne: Dr. Feel Good: Apple Ginger Turmeric Elixir
A quick Google search of the word “elixir” will tell you it’s defined as “a magical or medicinal potion” and that drinking such a concoction may help you to “prolong life indefinitely”. Big claims, we know!

Though we can’t promise you eternal life, we can tell you that drinking pure, vibrant nutrients like those found in this sweet, vivacious juice shot will facilitate a healthful glow, feelings of vibrancy, and overall energy and wellness.

The key ingredient in this concoction is the beautifully hued turmeric. Its gorgeous orangey-yellow pigment houses curcumin, a powerful pharmacological agent that is used most commonly to treat joint disorders, digestive problems, and to help protect against liver conditions. Some even say that it helps prevent certain forms of cancer. Turmeric is also used more generally to alleviate pain and reduce inflammation.

And while the drink is invigorating and delightfully tart, it also boasts anti-inflammatory ginger and immune-boosting lemon and apple, so you really can’t go wrong! It may not be magical in actual fact, but even with its remarkable health properties, it still manages to be magically delicious.
