 :Meaghan Eady: Minty Watermelon Hydration Smoothie
Eat it off the rind, cubed in salad, or chop it up in your blender.
 
No matter which way you slice it, it’s the fruit of the moment, loved by humans the world over - watermelon.
 
It’s also the star of the show in this blend, with just a hint of strawberry, lemon, mint and basil to make things interesting.
 
Hydrating, nourishing, supports digestion and liver detoxification AND contains a plethora of antioxidants to boot - blend it up, chug it down, and sing it from the rooftops for watermelon.
 
Ingredients
 
Go organic! Makes one serving.
 
2 cups watermelon, no seeds
1 or 2 fresh strawberries
Squeeze of a lemon wedge
2-3 basil leaves
Splash of filtered water to thin out as desired
 
Blend until smooth and the green bits are all chopped up. Drink as is or add a few teaspoons of chia seeds to amp it up and fill you up.
