Warning: If your stance on coffee is that of the purist persuasion, you might be offended by this recipe & post.
However, if you’re adventurous and up for
a new take on tradition, you’ll be delighted (and maybe even a little turned on) by this creative recipe. And, if you’re going to mess with coffee alchemy, what better time to do it than the summer, when we’re straying from the norm with iced versions of our
go-to coffees anyway?
This cup of joe is crammed with super foods to fuel your coffee (and you!) in a super tasty way.
By the way: Wondering why it’s called ‘sexy time coffee’? Read the original post to see how each ingredient contributes a little something to your libido.
Ingredients
2/3 cup hot coffee (or, hot coffee cooled by way of fridge/ ice)
2 Tbps coconut milk
1 Tbsp honey
½ tsp cinnamon
Ice cubes (if making an iced coffee)
Method
Pour your brewed coffee into a medium bowl. Add the cacao, coconut milk, honey, and cinnamon and whip with hand blender (or milk frother) until frothy.
Add the maca and froth up the mixture once again. Add your ice cubes if making an iced version, then serve immediately.
