We don’t need a hockey game to get out the pom (poms).
Famous in
Middle Eastern cuisine, its deep,
ruby colour and sweet, tart flavour-profile make the pomegranate one of the world’s most sought after fruits. To add to that glory, mainstream research has finally brought to light what ancient cultures have known for centuries: the pomegranate is a powerful, health-promoting food.
Besides being loaded with antioxidants that help to regenerate cells, the pom has potent anti-cancer and immune supporting effects, supports the heart and circulatory system, and has even been shown to help with depression.
So get out your pom (poms) and start cheering for this one!
