Who can resist a daily mid-summer peach? Where cherries are king of the stone fruits, peaches are queen.
Pair this luscious orange fruit with nutritionally dense goji berres and you have a unique and delicious flavour combo that will charge up your day. Throw in some
immune boosting red reishi (
aka the king of the mushrooms) and nothing will stop you. Don't worry,
reishi mushrooms are relatively flavourless so they won't throw off your smoothie feng shui.
Tibetan gojis, sometimes called wolf berries, keep your system strong because they're loaded with beta carotene,
immune boosting properties and anti-oxidant power. To grow up in the Himalaya you've gotta have some special magic!
These bright little berries usually come dried and resemble raisins - just skinnier and pinky red. I did see them fresh once at Whole Foods but have yet to try them. Perhaps my next blender adventure?
