Dog food should be for the dogs.
In 2000, Tamara and Brent Hauberg, experts in the health food and supplements industry in Canada, became dog owners. Research into what they should feed their new canine companions led them to a startling discovery - the commercial foods available were nutrient-deficient and manufacturing practices were questionable.
Inspired, the Hauberg’s set out to provide a knowledgeable environment where pet owners could find nutrient rich, life enhancing products for their pets. Today, there are thirteen Tail Blazer franchises in Western Canada.
The educated and passionate franchisees promote the BARF (bones and raw food) diet. This holistic, species-appropriate diet for canines and felines replicates what they would eat in the wild. The BARF diet is full of enzymes that make digestion easier. It is highly nutritional, containing natural trace minerals, amino acids and vitamins.
The variety is surprising: grain fed beef and bison, elk and duck. The treats are purely natural too. Your pooch will beg for the free range, grass fed beef jerky. You can find everything you need for your dog, cat, or bird – even your furry ferret.
Tail Blazers locations host animal adoptions and you can donate food and treats in support of rescue operations at any of their locations. Check out their website for special events.
At Tail Blazers, the pets have it so good; you’ll wish you had a dog’s life.
