Healthy organic food sourced locally. Really locally. Like, from the garden out back.
Since it opened in 2009, Ethical Kitchen has fed North Vancouver clientele, body and soul. With a philosophy that encourages nourishment, not just nutrition, Ethical Kitchen focuses on food that makes you feel awesome from the inside out.
All of the ingredients on the menu are as natural as possible, such as 100% organic grass-fed meat and organic dairy products. And every year, more and more of the vegetables are grown in their private garden. You’ll be eating your salad just a few meters from where it was grown.
Each week there’s a fresh menu so you’re guaranteed something exciting and new to try. Items range from traditional to experimental, always with a focus on creating an incomparable taste sensation.
Having ten thousand wiggly worms isn’t usually a selling feature for restaurants. But, at Ethical Kitchen, the industrial-size worm composter ensures that any food you can’t finish goes straight back into the garden.
Looking to make your home kitchen more like Ethical? Shop the attached Old Thyme Market (in person or online) for organic meat, raw milk cheeses and non-homogenized dairy, all from grass-fed cattle. You’ll find everything from organic teas and skin care products to wheat-free baked goods and locally sourced organic jams. There are even take-out versions of the restaurant’s latest gourmet creations.
