Lavender and lemon always pair well together. So when I picked up some sorrel from the farmer's market I knew just what I would do with it. Blend it, of course! With a heap of blackberries and a touch of lavender.
If you haven't tried sorrel, it's a 'green' with a delightful lemony aroma and taste, despite it's resemblance to dandelion or spinach. It's high in flavenoids and chlorophyll, great for immunity and oxygenating your tissues. Lavender is well known for it's aromatherapeutic property to induce calm and reduce stress, plus it's antibacterial.
Add cashews and hemp to make it nice 'n creamy, and boost your healthy fat, protein and calcium intake. A little OJ adds vitamin C to help you absorb all the superfood magic.
