We’ve been craving citrus and have been blending combinations of them every which way. We’d say a citrus mint smoothie is in order.
This way is insanely delicious, we promise.
Make sure you put the peeled oranges in, not just the juice. The pulp is where it’s at – all the nutrients and fibre live there, the stuff we need. You could even do the same for the lemon and lime, just make sure you hunt for all those seeds.
Ginger & mint (or basil tastes just as good) make it extra special and complement citrus so well. Cashew adds some texture, good fats and minerals like calcium and magnesium.

Citrus Mint Smoothie Ingredients
Ooooorganic! Makes one serving.
- 2 organic navel oranges, peeled, no seeds
- Juice of half a lemon
- Juice of half a lime
- ½ cup raw cashews
- 1 inch knob of ginger, peeled
- 2 – 3 large mint or basil leaves
- 1 cup filtered water, or more if neededBlend until smooth and devour. A handful of spinach would go nicely in here, too!
