Today's Apple Lime Ginger Smoothie comes to us from Jessie Mundell, an exercise and nutrition coach in Calgary, AB.

Ingredients
1 cup spinach
2 inch cucumber segment, chopped
2 inch cucumber segment, chopped
1 green apple, cored and chopped
1 thumb of peeled ginger
juice of 1 lime
1 Tbsp of raw honey or pure maple syrup (optional)

1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup water
1 scoop protein powder (vanilla flavour works well)
1 Tbsp ground flaxseeds (or chia)
4 ice cubes – or so (optional)

If your smoothie is too thick – add a 'lil more filtered water.
