Move over vitamin water – or, any pricey store-bought chia drink, for that matter.
This blend is full of fresh and vibrant flavour with the added bonus of protein and omega-filled chia seeds. The tartness of green apple and rhubarb are balanced by honey to produce a really clean lip-smacking flavour.
Rhubarb and green apple are vitamin and antioxidant rich, and with all the natural enzymes intact from blending real, raw, whole food, your body will absorb all this goodness with ease.

Ingredients
Go organic! Makes one serving.
Half a green or Granny Smith apple
6-8 inches of a stalk of ripe red rhubarb
2 cups of filtered water
1-2 tsp raw honey
2 Tbsp chia seeds * to be added after blending *
Important steps:
1. Blend on high until smooth (no chia yet!).
2. Strain through a mesh sieve (this is optional). If you like the added fiber you don’t have to strain it out.
3. Add 2 Tbsp (or desired amount) of chia seeds. Let them soak for at least 5 to 10 minutes. Stir often.
4. Drink and enjoy!
