Ergo, a good smoothie is sunshine in the belly! Says me.
If winter still has a strong foothold in your world, this treat might not bring the actual sun out but it will make your taste buds shine.
Tropical mango and pineapple blend up to be a light and very digestible base.
Tons of lemon and fresh coriander (aka cilantro) brighten things up and add a detoxification component that supports the liver and coaxes heavy metals out of the body.
Blend on!
Smoothie Ingredients
Go organic. Makes one serving.
- ½ a large mango, cubed (about ¾ cup)
- 1/3 cup of pineapple
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1 Tbsp hemp hearts
- Tbsp chopped cilantro/coriander leaves
- 1/3 cup almond milk
- ¾ cup filtered water (or more if needed)
Blend until light & smooth and let the sunshine in.
Optional: Greens like romaine, green leaf lettuce, or spinach taste great in here and will give your blend a boost of nutrients.
Done! Enjoy your especially sunny smoothie.
