With the mayhem of the holidays, it’s easy to see how taking care of ourselves can fall by the wayside.
It goes without saying that sipping a green juice, moving your body, and getting some much needed zzz’s are some of the best first steps toward honouring our bodies. Since we can’t make you eat your greens, go for a run, or get into bed an hour earlier, we’re offering a compromise. Furthermore, a compromise that will help you to feel your best this holiday season.
When the desire for a cocktail arises, forgo the rum and cola for a super vitamin sipper. Fresh oranges, lemons, and the vibrant sprigs of lemon thyme are loaded with Vitamin C, so short of sipping on a green smoothie, The Bitter Sweet is a top-notch drink choice.
The bitterness of the Campari nicely balances the sweetness of the orange juice and honey, the sourness of the lemon, and the bright pungency of the lemon thyme. Topped with a sparkling wine. It’s a lovely (and ultra pretty) effervescent sip that’s perfect for ringing in the New Year.
